People in Need (PIN) is an international, non-profit organization providing humanitarian and development assistance around the world. We are founded on the ideals of humanism, freedom, equality, and solidarity. PIN’s founder and CEO was one of the student leaders of Czechoslovakia’s Velvet Revolution. The peaceful protesters called for dialogue, freedom and democratization. Born out of that spirit, our roots lie in empowering grassroots civil society and human rights activists, as well as delivering humanitarian responses in hard-to-reach regions.
What began as a grassroots effort has evolved into a global organization. In 2024, we supported 3.5 million people across 26 countries. We implemented 202 projects with 1 309 partners. 62 institutional and private sector donors supported our work across our thematic pillars of: Civil Society & Inclusive Governance, Climate Resilience, and Emergency Response and Recovery.
Position Overview:
The Knowledge Product Manager plays a pivotal role in the development, positioning, and promotion of People in Need’s (PIN) key knowledge products and programming approaches. PIN has built a robust archive of assessments, analysis, studies, as well as evidence-based programmatic approaches, however, there is a growing need to support the organization in shaping them into digestible, well branded, audience specific products that are tailored to PIN’s priority donors (institutional, philanthropic, foundations, etc.).
The position is a global role and reports to the Director of the Programme Strategy and Impact (PSI) Department. You will work closely with teams of global technical advisors and regionally-specialised colleagues across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
