About The Role:
Our team is working to help shape the digital world to be a freer, fairer and safer place through the application of science, technology and human ingenuity, and we are looking for people who share our passion to contribute to a better online world.
What You’ll Do In This Role:
- Work on flagship product, Norton360, which is used by millions of users. You set the vision for the user experience of this product and create the space for others to collaborate.
- Design and define detailed storyboards, user stories, wireframes, mockups, and low/high fidelity prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Collaborate with the global brand team on the definition and delivery of the final visual language for Norton products.
- Work with the Customer Insight team to conduct usability studies of new and existing products/features and let users lead the way. Our team focuses on listening to users and letting their needs guide us to the best design solutions.
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll partner closely with the engineering, product, and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges. Together with stakeholders, you’ll solve problems and come up with solutions that delight our users.
- Be autonomous. You’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every last detail, every step from idea to final design deliverable.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role:
- At least 4 years of experience designing at consumer-focused tech companies.
- Communication skills to help set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts and bring new ideas to life across other teams.
- People-focused design mentality and an open mind for feedback from user research, A/B tests and other sources of data.
- Ability to work in Figma / Figjam to define strategies, wireframes, flow charts, and hi-fidelity design.
- Own an online portfolio or PDF that you can share with us. A link to your online portfolio, or a PDF, is required.
