The digital experience industry is being disrupted. AI is changing the rules of the game. We refuse to fall behind. That’s why we’re transforming our flagship product for the AI era.
We’re looking for someone with strong design foundations (5+ years of experience as UX/Product Designer), who is looking for more experience, rapid growth, tackling complex challenges and who is eager for implementing AI in both product and processes.
You’ll own end-to-end design part on initiatives that Product managers choose as the most valuable bets for partners/customers. You’ll work in a product trio setup (PM/UX/DEV) and you’ll drive the initiative from very rough idea to shaped solution that can be implemented. You’ll frame and shape the work in fixed time, variable scope mode (inspired by ShapeUp).
That’s why we need someone who can handle complex, blurry problems, frame them well, prioritize them heavily, do hard trade-offs, handle imperfection and shape them into something tangible under tight constraints. You will be making hard design decisions, facilitating workshops, designing UI interactions, AI conversational flows, AI processes or multiagentic systems.
Our company strategy is Customer Intimacy – to be in close contact with our customers and partners (digital agencies) and listen to their needs. So, you will be involved heavily in research. Doing in-depth interviews, concept-testings, and usability testings with live AI prototypes. The tricky part is that we’re B2B2B, so we need to keep in mind many other personas (within digital agencies and customers) than just a final user.
You will work on our flagship product Xperience by Kentico (XbyK). XbyK is digital experience platform (DXP). You can think of it as a content management system (CMS) like Wordpress, but commercial and much more robust and complex, packed with many advanced features like multichannel management, e-mail marketing, marketing automation, e-commerce, analytics etc.
Kentico platforms run more than 90 000 websites around the globe. Our typical customers are banks, hospitals, industrial companies etc. Most of them from US, but some of them are Czech too – e.g. Komerční banka. We don’t design the websites themselves, but mainly the admin interface of the platform – The place where marketers manage their content for websites, write articles, launch e-mail campaigns, manage e-shop items etc.
If you ask designers at Kentico, chances are they’ll speak about their work with real excitement and enthusiasm. There are many good reasons why that is. If you join us, this is what you can expect:
If you feel this might be a good fit, don’t hesitate. Reach out to us through the form on a page. If you have CV or portfolio, drop it there, we will definitely check it out. If not, don’t stress about it. We want you to spend time on more meaningful things than updating your portfolio
We’ll get in touch within 72 hours. If we see it might be a good fit, we will invite you to the first interview round, where you’ll showcase your best work and we will talk about your past experiences. This round is in-person, either in Prague offices (Brumlovka) or Brno offices (Nové sady). If that clicks, we will invite you for a second round, where you show how you think and decide on-the-spot. This round is online. No prep needed. That’s it. No more rounds. You can know if you are hired in couple of weeks, depending on the number of other strong talents. If we won’t see the fit, we will tell you right away, so you don’t need to spend days in uncertainty.
If you want to know more, you can reach out to Matěj Heřman, our UX Leader. Either on LinkedIn or at matejh2@kentico.com. He is happy to meet you over coffee and discussing further, either online or in-person in our Prague offices (Brumlovka).
